Hi there! Did you know that’s a multinational website?

Paris: Men’s Fashion Week Categories: fashion shows & events, men's fashion

Overall, Paris Fashion Week was full of lush clothing, and surprises that could bring any self-proclaimed fashion enthusiast to his knees! Yves Saint Laurent and Dior Homme brought back the cape, whilst others resurrected the cowboy/jazz hat…. and then there was Thom Browne. He created clothes straight from 18th century society, top hats and all.

The models sported long tartan skirts, and white wigs. It’s no secret that this look has been done in the past, by no other than Mr. Galliano and McQueen who was always known for his aristocratic-pushed into- modern age -clothing. Old world aristocracy wasn’t the only culture represented on the runway this season, grunge seemed to make an appearance in almost every collection from Paul Smith to Raf Simons. Over-sized chunky knits in fun neons will give the man’s wardrobe some much needed color, in contrast to the grey color palette that seemed to dominate. The theme for last week: jubilant grunge and slight gender bending. Nothing not to be expected from the city of light.
